9 weeks of sailing on a 63 m long 3 mast bark sailing vessel. Mercator was a reality game with 14 candidates for Belgium national TV VRT where culture, knowledge and sportivity could meet. This adventure was a 1915 miles long loop sailing trip heading for Scandinavian waters.

Starting with a 3 mast bark scale model of 40 cm, I finally bartered her for a 8,5 m sailing vessel to be renovated. The project took me 1,5 years and the Grand Bleu was launched in Eeklo.
