2023 - Prasonisi is located on the southern tip of the Greek island of Rhodes, which is connected to the mainland only through a narrow strip of sand. The north-westerly Meltemi wind accelerates through the narrow passage between the island and the mainland and creates flat water conditions with cross offshore wind and small waves to bump and jump wave conditons on the onshore side.

The Meltemi is most reliable during the summer season from June to September with an average of force 5-6 Beaufort. But also in May and October you may frequently experience its full power. A light wetsuit is needed in these Greek waters.
CONDITIONS
