Tenerife is an island where spring temperatures occur even in December.
The moderate temperatures (10°) at 2000 m allow you to cycle with just a light jacket. In midst of summer temperatures rise to 30°C at ca. 500 m altitude. Few water possibilities in the N.P. but many water supplies in the villages as you proceed your downhill.
It is not allowed to camp in Las Canadas but you will find possibilities in the forest Montana Colorada or canyons / barrancos outside the park along the way. Take your bivy or tent during winter time as dawn will wet your sleeping bag in the morning.
Tenerife has all West-European facilities for food/drinks you can dream of.
Even in small villages you will find the most basic ingredients to prepare your evening dinner. Of course you can alway enter a bar to taste tapas or join the locals for the meal of the day in or just enter a local restaurant and order the daily platter.
